The Hillcrest Wind Ensemble has two concerts coming up.
Please join us for an evening of symphonic wind music at the most excellent
Neurosciences Institute Recital Hall on Saturday, November 15th, at 7 pm.
Our holiday concert will be held at the Balboa Park Recital Hall on Saturday, December 20th, at 7 pm.

There are 22 pieces on it, including a vocal by yours truly.

In May of 2006, my as-yet-unpublished memoir, Becoming Patrick,
was chosen as a Finalist in the San Diego Book Awards competition.

I was honored to be a featured speaker at Concerned United Birthparents' (CUB)
National Conference/Retreats in 2002 (Nebraska), 2003 (Williamsburg, VA),
2004 (Asilomar/Monterey, CA), and 2007 (Oak Brook, IL)

On January 23, 2003, I presented an unusual evening of storytelling and music.
At LeStat's Coffeehouse Performance Space in San Diego,
musician Mark Langford and myself alternated performing segments
of music and prose reading. His segments were classical
Spanish guitar. Mine were excerpts from my memoir, Becoming Patrick.
Many thanks to those who attended for making it a magical evening.
